You can create a resource list to share with your students or library staff who can help you locate the resources on your list.
You can also see resource lists created by library staff for genre projects or units of learning.

To create a resource list you will need to log in to the catalog using your school Google or Follett Destiny credentials.
Once you have logged in to the catalog, choose Resource Lists from the left-hand menu and click to open.

Click on Add List.

Name your list, add a description and a co-owner if you wish and save. Share private lists by adding the librarians as co-owners if you would like them to add additional titles or if you need the books to be pulled for you (please send an email notification). Make your list public only if you want your students to be able to see it.

Your empty list will look like this:

To add books to your list, return to the search page of the library catalog
Enter your keyword(s) 'migration' or 'animal migration' and change any limiters you wish to set (material, reading level, etc).

You will notice that the first results are about human migration, so you may need to refine the search. You can see the number of results in the top left-hand corner.
Here are the results from a refined search for 'animal migration'. The first title is perhaps not suitable, but the next three are a good fit for the unit. Click on Add to this list to include these in your resource list. Note that one of the titles is an unlimited ebook which would be a good classroom resource. Remember you must be logged in to the catalog to read ebooks.

The title is now in the resource list.
